Basic Weaving Courses

One day course covering the traditional craft of Weaving, this includes a short background history of weaving. This is followed by a practical demonstration of  simple weaving using card loom, stick loom and simple frame looms. Participants will get to use each of the  looms. You will get to take home the materials and card looms you have been using to continue your studies at home.

The course is designed for the complete beginner or for those wishing to brush up on their existing skills. You will gain the confidence and ability to tackle a variety of weaving techniques and how to create your own simple designs.
